Salon Policies:

We are a small, independent studio, based at Hedsor Golf Course, HP10 0JW, and strive to create a relaxing environment for all treatments. Therefore, we have these policies in place. By booking an appointment, you are agreeing to these policies.

  • No children. (Under 16) We use chemicals, hot wax, needles and many more products which could be dangerous to children. Our insurance doesn’t cover children in the salon, and therefore we ask that you book your appointment when you can get childcare.

 

  • No guests. We don’t have the space to have a guest with you while having a treatment done. We are a small salon and can get very busy at times. Due to fire safety numbers, we do not allow guests, unless you are both having a treatment. There is a bar next door, in the golf course, any guests are welcome to wait and have a drink! (Please note:we have exceptions to this policy and review individual circumstances. Please contact us if you need to bring someone to your appointment.)

 

  • Please put your phone on silent when you come into the studio. We have noticed that phones on ‘loud’ disturb other clients having a treatment. If you need to make a phone call, we ask that you go outside to do so, so we can keep a relaxing environment for our other clients. If you need to be able to check your phone during a treatment, please have it with you and on vibrate, rather than on loud in your bag or pocket. We are understanding, and know that you may be waiting for a call, but please respect other clients having a treatment done. 

 

  • We only perform treatments on those 16+. This may vary as some treatments are 18+. If you are under the age of 18, you will need parental consent for the treatment. 

 

  • All bookings require a non refundable booking fee. We cannot secure your appointment without this. Once you’ve booked with us, you will receive a text/email to confirm your appointment with the relevant details to pay the booking fee. This needs to be paid within 24 hours of booking the appointment. If this isn’t paid within 24 hours, the appointment will automatically be cancelled. This is to protect us against no shows.

 

  • Book fees are NON REFUNDABLE, under any circumstances. They can be transferred to a different appointment time, if over 48 hours notice is given. Booking fees can be transferred once. If the appointment needs to be transferred more than once, a new booking fee will be required. Please ensure you contact us with over 48 hours notice if you need to move an appointment. 

 

  • Booking fees vary from appointment to appointment, and can be charged at £20 or up to 50% of the treatment price. Once this is paid, your appointment is secured, and this will be taken off the final payment of your treatment, on the day. 

 

  • Full payment must be made before or during your appointment. Payment must be made before leaving the salon. 

 

  • If you are running late, please contact us ASAP. Your appointment may be cancelled if you are over 10 minutes late. The booking fee will not be refunded and full payment will be required for the treatment. 

 

  • NO SHOWS are in breach of our terms and conditions. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to show up and pay for the service you have booked. If y0u do not turn up, full payment will be required. 

 

  • No pets. We do not allow pets into the salon, at any time. Please note, pets are also not allowed on the golf course premises  at any point.

 

  • We have a trainee therapy dog who works in the salon. He is being trained to work and is working when he is in the salon. His training is strict. He is friendly, however, is constantly learning how to read different situations, so we ask that you please do not stroke or go over to him without asking a staff member. If he greets you (which he usually does) please let him sniff before stroking him. We are working really hard to get his manners up to a high standard and create a positive relationship with him and every person he meets. 

 

  • All therapists have the right to refuse treatment & service, at their discretion,  and have the authority to ask you to leave the premises, if required.

 

  • If you do not agree with these policies, we completely understand that we may not be the salon for you. These policies are in place for both client and therapist safety, in line with our insurance and the Golf Course rules. We cannot treat any client who does not agree to our policies. By booking an appointment, you are agreeing to the policies listed above.
